The role of our Parent Advisory Committee is to serve in a consultative capacity to the school administrator and parish, build a sense of ownership, community, lay leadership, and to help enhance and enrich school programs. Roles and responsibilities typically include policy development, financial consultation, long range planning, development/fund raising, recruitment/marketing, and communication.
Catholic School advisory committees are not legal entities with decision making rights like Public School Boards. We do not provide academic direction or teacher evaluation, which is provided by the school administrator. Our purpose is not to represent any specific constituency or advance any specific “agenda”.
